the Kiddie Halloween Party!

Ann threw a really great Halloween party for all the kids in our ward. Let me just say that first of all she is due to have a baby in like 1 week...and she went all out. They started with making their own slime, Sawyer loved it because of Ghostbusters. Then there was bobbing for apples, eating a donut off a string, which was so funny...Sawyer was laughing hysterically the whole time he was trying to eat the donut. The kids decorated sugar cookies, and then had an halloween egg hunt. It was all so cute, and the kids had so much fun being dressed up and playing so many fun games. I love how social Sawyer has become in this last year as he's made more friends and started school. I feel like I can sit and chat for hours without even seeing him, I guess that is maybe not always a good thing?

Live Oak Pumpkin Patch

What a perfect afternoon...not too hot, I could actually wear a light sweater. The pumpkin patch made me feel like Fall is actually here. I love, love, love this time of year. If only it felt a little more like it! We went with the Biesingers to the Live Oak PP which is our favorite one. They had so many fun rides, slides, and sights for the kids. Sawyer was in heaven, except when he saw Frankenstein for the first time. And yes, there is a picture that Lillie captured of his bare butt in the middle of the pumpkins when he decided to strip down and pee in the midst of us all. I guess that's just one of the perks of being a boy.

Halloween Party...Adults ONLY!

The Lamms threw a really fun little Halloween party last weekend. I had been thinking about me and Tyson's outfit for weeks before hand because how often is it that we dress up...actually never! We went through so many different options and finally decided on being Britney and K-Fed since I am pregnant, and Tyson is basically from the 909. We had everything figured out until 2 days before when Tyson and Colby got invited to a big jewelery party in LA that they couldn't pass up. I was so bummed, but luckily I had Sarah as a date. Too bad we didn't know with enough time for Sarah and I to be a couple. So I still went as Brit, and Sarah was Sandra Dee, I guess you could say we both went as singers.
The party was a lot of fun with some great company, yummy food, and some fun games. I loved how clever everyone was with their costumes, and Mark did have like 5 different costumes that he was changing into throughout the night. I am already hoping this becomes a yearly tradition...Lizzie?

movie night

On friday night Old Town La Quinta, where the boys store is, put on a family movie night on the big lawn area. It was a perfect night to be outside, and it was Sawyer's new favorite movie...Monsters vs. Aliens. They had a hot dog stand set up, and gave free kettle corn to everyone which was great. We ordered a pizza, and just sat and watched the movie with Sarah and Colby. It was so fun, I can't wait til they do it again next month.

4 years

Happy Anniversary Tyson! We've lived in 2 states together, 6 different places. Had our little Sawyer with one more on the way. Traveled to Hawaii, San Francisco, Seattle, Wyoming, Croatia, Switzerland, and Slovenia. And had many ups with a few downs. Thank you for always putting us first, and for doing whatever it takes to make our marriage and family a happy and forever one. I love You!

happy.

I know today has to be a good day when...I wake up to a house that is only 72 degrees. Our air didn't run once last night, and I woke up even a little chilly. Then we started the day off with some amazing, fall feeling, pumpkin waffles. They are a new mix from trader joes, and well worth the 2.99! There is nothing that could make me happier than pumpkin.
